Dr. Mariam Al-Awadhi
Dr. Mariam Al-Awadhi brings a wealth of expertise to our conference from her role as Assistant Professor at Kuwait University’s Faculty of Medicine. Trained at the University of Ottawa and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, Dr. Al-Awadhi has pioneered the integration of mental health services into Kuwaiti hospitals and primary healthcare centers.
Her focus on integrating mental health services into general healthcare systems underscores the importance of a holistic approach to health. This aligns perfectly with the conference theme, emphasizing the interconnectedness of mental and physical health in developing strong leaders.
